American seem to get stupider all the time.  I don't know how you can elect morons who would even consider this kind of dumb law.  Don't expect to see ERT being host in NJ any time soon.

Under that kind of stupid mindframe they could, say,  beat the crap out of a completely unrelated nation, out of the blue and for no good reason, against the entire world's will, on the false premises of looking for, say, WMDs, lying at the international hearings and getting internal approval with the excuse of it being over in 3 months, costing only 1.9 billion and acting as "liberators" for people that will love them afterwards...

...oh, wait... nevermind.

I think this does work only if the country in question has huge reserves of petrol (petra oleum)

It is a completely nonsensical law.  It cannot be enforced, except against ISPs, who I expect will move their servers to New York.

If I post using a hotspot in Starbucks, who is responsible for regulating my activities?  If I posted anonymously, how do they determine who posted? If I am standing 10 past teh state line can I trash and flame all the residence of New Jersey anaoymously; of change them to a duel, and to respond to me they must identify themselves.  That sounds like fun.  How does someone prove who they are?... perhaps their CC info?

The law is a joke and morons who propose this kind of thing make the people who elected them look as dumb as rocks.
