On SE there is an option to "Watch" a whole topic area for new posts. This would be an excellent idea to incorporate here so that we can keep track of what is being posted in our areas of expertise.

Yes, notifs on new threads being posted is a good enhancementan will be on the list of improvments. I would think it will end up on the early list rather than the late one.

Surely you don't read EVERY post?
When we start mentoring, you will need to concentrate on the MA's you are in. Otherwise it will end up like the F4All at TOS.

At the moment, yes I do. And later on I would like to be notified of any new activities in my own MAs. Right now I just need to be aware of any problems so I can do my job effectively.

Huntress, you are starting to scare me. I was going to ask if there was a way I could get notifs on new threads in Proposals.

Well I tried installing a mod to do it, and my installer did not like it. So I will have to go through the mod manually to make sure it is safe, and then I will have to do it the hard way, but I am working on it.

This is an excellent idea! Also at SE one has an option to see "recent posts", which would be nice, just to see which new topics one may want to watch.

I could have sworn phpBB had something where you can look up unanswered posts, although it may have been removed from this site to help out with SEO.
Although if it is possible to implement something similar to ameba's QP in that it shows the most recent posts, it would truly be amazing :notworthy:

You CAN see unanswered posts.
Look at the forum index (
http://experts.com/phpBB2/index.php
) and you will see 3 links on the top right ...
