The rules of ERT are different than those for most other forums..

Also remove the quotes around this first paragraph, they are not needed.

Quote
..the Mentor is assumed to be in the right unless clear proof of wrongdoing is presented."

Remove the end quote. There is no quote thus no end quote is needed.

Also, the voting page does not indicate when the vote will be closed (that I can see).

Aha! First bullet in teh voting guidelines:
Quote
Polls will run for a duration of 7 days.

I put it there most of the time anyway but it should not be necessary with just old hands on the site until the 18th.  I will add it.  And  will fix the mistakes in the rules page.  Keep whispering.   :angel5:

I should clear the auto close box, then.

One thing I was wondering, if the P&C threads are moved to a Closed Section, doesn't that bust the link-back in the Poll thread?

Or is that what the Shadow option does?

It's better if you don't leave the shadows and I wish it didn't do it by default.  I don't move any of the P&C topics to the archives unless they're fairly old and no one has posted in them for 30+ days.  Surely we've voted on them by that time?

Hard to post in something that is locked.

I was just leaving P&C "as is", so the people that wanted to poke around the Closed Polls, could find the discussion easier.  And I changed how many showed, so I didn't have to look at them. :-$

BTW: I agree about the shadows.
Nice job on the Forums. Here...  :coffee2:  it's Irish  :-$

ok! :D

Here are some proposals for the voter info page:

http://www.expertsrt.com/static/voterInfo.html

Quote
The members will be making most of the operatonal decisions..

"operatonal" should be spelled "operational".

Quote
..then that small group may become a ruling elite; and democracy will be subverted.

You may replace the semicolon with a comma, or if you wish to keep it, remove the word "and".

Quote
..don't just whine; get it change through a vote of the members.

"change" should be "changed".

Quote
.. after 7 days of discussion debate.

Remove "debate" (somewhat redundant) or make it "discussion and debate".
