Ok here it is.

I am running WindowsXP sp2
I installed apache http server 2.2 I checked it with md5 everything was ok. I installed it by using  "only for the Current User, on Port 8080, when started Manually", I used Custom install, and I did use a path without spaces, i gave at  Network Domain "localhost" same for Serer name and for e-mai i gave admin@localhost, checked config file it is set to "listen:80" (i tryed everything with "listen:8080" too and still didn't work), I checked the windows/system32/drivers/etc localhost is set as 127.0.0.1. The problem is when i am trying to check if "It works!"... well it doesn't... I tryed http://127.0.0.1/ tryed http://localhost/ everything gives the "Address not found:" error

I just hope I am a complete idiot and I made a very stupid mistake and in this case please accept my humble apologies

Please help, and thank you in advance.

PS. forgot to say tha i also get the error httpd.exe: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 83.81.117.13 for ServerName

I managed to repair what I did wrong, mainly were some missing files, and some semantic problems, well I can't say thx cause I didn't get much help, well actually none. Sry for making the topic I do realise how useless it was!
