and it's "imbattables", not "imbaffablles".
i would have used "invincibles".
"battre" is for opponents in sports or games, "vaincre" is for military victories or for fears (vaincre ses peurs).

I might again say thank you, and I really appreciate the etymology.  Languages are interesting and unfortunately learning others not so easy.
