Expires in a few days.

Anyone see any reason to keep it open?  I've too much invested in the Cafe to keep it open.

Cd& mentioned archiving the forum for history's sake, so I can down the db, but it won't be much use without the forum software and probably wouldn't be worth the effort to write a parser in PHP.

Thoughts?

Almost there.  Maybe 1 week, certainly by the 1st.  Sign's up, tables just arrived.  Equipment is all here.  Staff hired.  Range hood is approved.  Just a little exterior plumbing and we should be ready for final inspection early next week.  Waiting for chairs and sneeze guard...could be 7 days to 10 days for those.  Might be allowed to open without the sneeze guard if we don't use the salad bar.

I backed up everything on the site, including the data and SQL script for the site.  So it will live on in binary on my laptop.

It was nice while it lasted, and fulfilled it purpose well.
Still, sad to see it go.

Good Luck with the Grand Opening.  <thumbs up>

I completely agree and I'm glad that you're saving it at least.

I'm glad your saving it somewhere. Thank you for having SE when it was needed!

I wish you much good luck with the restaurant! It sounds so wonderful!

How much do we need to raise? I could contribute some via Paypal.

Very kind of you, but the site received almost no usage in the last year and I've already cut off service.

It served its purpose well, but is no longer needed.

It was a great thing at the time. Without SE we wouldn't have been able to come up with ERT.

(Best wishes for the Cafe!!)

If it hadn't been for SE I might never have had the opportunity to get to know my muso or be leaving for a two week stay in England two weeks from tomorrow!  For that I'm very grateful.

I'm so glad the restaurant is doing well Rod.  :-)

Damn, SE was a great place while it lasted.  Time goes so quickly...

Thanks Rod :-)

It would be nice to have a copy of it though...
