Hi,
Ok I w ill take out the right click. This is my own site. I work for myself.I started this site because I want to stay here and make a small livng selling ad space, tours etc.  As a side note I have to find a way to protect my site because another person is  starting to copy my design and content. This is  Asia. As you can see I have got the basic skeleton and now just have to fill in the some of the gaps with more pics and finally an ajax style booking summary routine so people can order on line with credit card etc..
What's the attraction to VN ?

Impossible to prevent.  The best you can do is prevent someone from linking live to your content, but if a potential customer can browse your site, then a potential competitor can also see and steal it.  Even in the US or EU by the time copyright law did you any good you may have lost your design and/or customers.  So, better you get a pleasant and functional site (maybe not live until you are finished) then concentrate on SEO and marketing.

There are things she likes and things she doesn't.  Same with my thoughts about Vietnam.  A lot to like...still, would I leave home for it???  I have to admire her courage to leave the only home she's known.

The things she likes are often surprising to me.

Asian ladies are basically very materialistic because they need to be. Most of the responsibilities for raising a family normally land in their lap. Another big point is cleanliness. Western societies have clean streets, modern supermarkets etc which has great appeal.   All that said and done things have changed a real lot since I first started coming to Asia. In it's frenetic race to become westernized much of it's mystery and some of it's charm have been lost.  World is shrinking  .. Let's blame the Internet ;-)

rod, when you multiply the number of days by 864000.10^ something (in milliseconds), don't you fear exceding javascript's integer capacity ?

It's good you mention that, and correct me if I'm wrong on any of the following.

datObject.getTime() method returns the number of milliseconds since 1 Jan 1970.  Therefore, 19 Jul 2007 is  1,184,821,200,000 which is a 13 digit integer.

Now JavaScript uses the standard 8 byte IEEE floating-point numeric format, which means the range is from: +/- 1.7976931348623157x10^308 - very large, and +/- 5x10^-324 - very small.  My understanding with the 8 byte format is that it is considered reliable for integers <= 15 digits.

A year (365 days) is  31,536,000,000 (13 digits), and adding that to today's date will yield a 13 digit result.

Therefore 10 million days * 86400000 =  864,000,000,000,000 15 digits...so I think we should be just fine.

As a signed 64-bit integer, the internal Number storing the date can theoretically cover a range of 285,616 years before or after Jan-1-1970; however, the ECMAScript 262 specifications state that the actual range is exactly 100,000,000 days forwards or backwards. (Roughly 273,972 years.)  So I think we will overflow the date object before we overflow an integer.
