I was just wondering that if RubyonRails is all that its been said to be then why isn't a section allocated to it on the forum?

it has been discussed in a thread in one other topic (PHP?). Given it has been found full of security flaws, I wouldn't recommend it ;-)
i'm not sure it's very useful either, and it's certainly not necessary (a bit like AJAX)

We add forum topics based on the volume of questions that would be asked for that subject. Rubyonrails is just not that popular at the moment so a section has not been devoted to it. If you have any questions regarding it please post in the 'General Web Dev' once enough questions on that topic are accumulated those questions will be moved to a dedicated forum. As for the general opinion on the subject I can not say since I have not used it.
