Title: Can Not Change Password Post by: CrYpTiC_MauleR on December 15, 2007, 08:47:09 PM Starting to do my password changing for all my online accounts and tried to change my password for the forum but it keeps coming up with error saying my current password is wrong. I have typed my password out in a text editor and copied and pasted it exactly and it still wont let me change my password since my current one to verify the change is coming up as incorrect. Has anyone else has this same issue or is it just my account or problem at my end?

I have tried on 2 different computers and still my password is coming up as incorrect even though its the same one I use to login.

Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: coral1 on March 28, 2008, 11:11:17 PM whoops. Sorry for the delay. My New Q notifs are wanky and I just noticed this.
I will give it a try and get back to you. Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: coral1 on March 28, 2008, 11:18:39 PM I can't do it either.
The following errors occured when trying to save your profile: * The password you entered was not correct. * Your password must be at least 8 characters long.. Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: coral1 on March 28, 2008, 11:26:46 PM That's strange, when I logged out and then back in, it needed the new password.
Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: CrYpTiC_MauleR on March 30, 2008, 07:43:20 PM I had Rod change my password for me since if an admin changes an account pass it doesn't ask for current password (btw thanks Rod). He changed it to something with a-z 0-9 chars and I was able to successfully change my password then. So it seems having special chars in your password does prevent you from changing your password.
I wish I had the free time to upgrade ERT, but school is just nothing but most of my time, and the upgrade will take a few days to prepare and test before going green. I am crossing my fingers for the chance to do it after finals, but will have to see if my schedule will be free at the time. =o( Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: coral1 on March 31, 2008, 11:06:10 PM >> ...having special chars in your password...
Something you forgot to mention earlier. : p Good Luck on your test When/if you do get around to futzing with the upgrade, see if you can figure out why I keep losing my notifs after the first few. I didn't get one for your last post. : / Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: Huntress on April 06, 2008, 03:39:49 AM I'm not getting notifs at all. Haven't tried changing my password but I did change my email , thinking that was the problem. Still no notifs. Who gets the cron reports?
Title: Re: Can Not Change Password Post by: coral1 on April 06, 2008, 11:34:41 PM Probably Cd& and/or Rod.
